How the firm is led

Engineers, architects and Chartered Accountants who sign their own reports

Kakode & Associates is led by its founder, a chemical engineer and Government Approved Valuer with more than five decades in industry, and by the chief executive who incorporated the company in 2015 and built the TEV, Lenders’ Independent Engineer and business-valuation practices. The board includes an ICA-registered architect with four decades in residential and commercial projects, a Chartered Accountant as CFO who heads TEV studies and enterprise valuation, and a chief compliance officer. IBBI-registered valuers cover all three asset classes.

Directors carry their own registrations, inspect sites and present to credit committees, committees of creditors and NCLT benches themselves. Nothing that carries the firm’s name is sub-contracted.

Ameet Pai Kakode

A Bio-Medical Engineer (University of Mumbai, 2007) with a Diploma in Business Finance from ICFAI, Ameet was instrumental in diversifying the firm into techno-economic viability studies, business valuations and project reports, and incorporated Kakode Associates Consulting Private Limited in 2015 to take the practice national.

He has led mandates for Reliance Power, SevenHills Hospitals, Shipping Corporation of India and Lodha with a cumulative value above ₹5 lakh crore, and heads business development. Member, PVAI Valuation Professional Organisation; Life Member, Practicing Valuers Association (India).

A Chartered Accountant (ICAI, 2016) and member of the Independent Director’s Databank, Bhupesh heads the techno-economic viability and Lenders’ Independent Engineer practice and has led major valuations of financial assets, technical due diligence, enterprise and equity valuations.

Before joining K&A he worked on concurrent and statutory audits for nationalised banks including SBI, Axis Bank and ICICI.

A Chemical Engineer (KREC, 1970) with a management diploma from JBIMS, Anil founded Kakode & Associates in 1982 after serving as General Manager of a leading consultancy. He has 51 years in industry, 39 of them in valuation, with particular expertise in plant and machinery.

Chartered Engineer (1984), Fellow of the Institution of Valuers (1990), Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) and of the International Council of Consultants, and IBBI Registered Valuer since 2019.

Has developed over 2 lakh sq. m. as an independent architect with a total project cost of ₹2,000 crore, in India and the Middle East. Life Member, Practicing Valuers Association of India and Indian Council of Architects.
