Environment
Paperless reporting, consolidated site travel and a preference for rail on regional assignments.
Responsibility
The standards we assess in our clients’ projects are the standards we hold ourselves to.
Kakode & Associates assesses more than 5,000 MW of renewable capacity and battery storage, and the environmental and safety compliance of the projects we monitor is part of every LIE report. Our own commitments follow the same logic: measurable, independently verifiable and reported annually.
In our work
The most direct contribution the firm makes is through the projects it monitors. Every Lenders’ Independent Engineer report records the status of environmental clearance, consents to establish and operate, hazardous-waste authorisation, effluent and emission compliance, and site safety, and flags a lapse to the lender as a project risk in the same month it is observed.
The renewable practice has assessed more than 5,000 MW of solar, wind, hybrid and battery-storage capacity, including the 1,250 MW Serentica Renewables project for KKR and Vedanta, and TEV studies for biomass and ethanol plants that displace fossil fuel.

What we check
Findings are reported to the lender monthly, and repeated non-compliance is escalated as a disbursement condition.
Paperless reporting, consolidated site travel and a preference for rail on regional assignments.
Sponsored professional registrations, equal-opportunity hiring across 11 offices and a safety-first site protocol.
Pro-bono valuation and technical support for co-operative institutions and educational trusts.
